About The Photographer

Welcome to Jennifer Stuber Photography!

Hello, I'm Jen and I love photography. Photography is a way of life for me and has been for many years now. As a small child I never knew what I wanted to 'grow up to be'. Now, I've found something I'm very passionate about, and that I love being able to do every day. I hope I will be able to keep doing it for the rest of my life!

At heart, I'm a nature photographer. I've loved animals and nature in general my entire life, and one day I hope to be a photographer for National Geographic. That's the dream, anyways! A life of traveling the world with my camera in hand is the ultimate dream. Currently I'm working as a portrait photographer here in the London area.

I recently finished participating in a co-operative education at The London Fine Art Centre in downtown London (next to Kingsmill's). I learned additional business management skills, gained work experience and met many local artists. I now work there part-time, on a magazine called What's On!

This fall, I will be attending Fanshawe College's Photography program. I am very excited to improve my skills and knowledge of the art, and I can't wait to begin.

Thank you for your supporting and for viewing my website!

My Blog:

Accomplishments:

July 9/09: I was 1 of the top 10 finalists in the BizPlan Competition 2009, where students were instructed to make
a business plan. My business plan reflected my photography business. We were introduced to entrepreneur success stories that were very inspiring to me.

Summer 2009: I was part of the Summer Company Program that the Ontarian Ministry of Small Business and Entrepreneurship runs every year through the Small Business Centre in the province. I was 1 of 10 other students accepted in the program. I created a business plan for my photography business and with support from the mentors in the program, it blossomed into what it is now.

May 5/09:
I competed in the Ontario Technological Skills Competition after winning regionals, where I placed 1st (PDF file, page 20) among 36 other student photographers. It is one of the most proudest moments of my life.

March 11/09:
I won 1st Place in the Regional Skills Canada - Ontario Competition in Photography.
